The hero has got to be one of the most archetypal characters found in media texts. They are typically represented as strong and good lucking, this gives them a very dominant role within the narrative. In the film 'Batman vs Superman', Superman is portrayed as a stereotypical superhero; he is dramatically revealed to the audience with a cape, chiselled muscles and a powerful posture. This conforms to the stereotypical representation of a hero within the action genre and most media texts. However; in 'Paul Blart's Mall Cop', Paul (the protagonist) is shown to be very overweight, his tacky security uniform and his lighthearted facial expressions allow him to fit the conventions of the comedy genre; while developing and challenging the representation of an archetypal hero. Both heroes share the same proud and dominant pose and role within their films, however; the difference in genre changes how they are portrayed to the audience.  Paul Blart Superman

Here I have created a storyboard, the storyboard will help me create a visual representation of the film's narrative. This will help me visualize what the final product might look like and enable me to ensure continuity between them. 

Here is a screenshot of my risk assessment that I created in Excel to manage the risks that may be involved in making my film opening. This will help mitigate the risks involved and will make the cast and crew aware of them. Hopefully, this will help the project to run more efficiently.

I have created this call sheet using Microsoft Word. The call sheet will allow the cast and crew to arrive on time to the right place and carrying the right props and equipment. This will help the production overall to be more efficient as people wont turn up late, get lost or turn up with the wrong things. This also saves the production money because lost time is lost profit. 

  I have created a few location recces so I can have all the key information about the places I would want to film at. This makes my production very efficient as all the information I need is in one place. This will help me decide what equipment I need to bring or which representative I need to communicate with.  Location Recces  

I have created this release form using Microsoft word. The form will dismiss any legal liability to the studio just in case the talent complains about the finished product. This also shows that they agree to any risks they may be taking.

 Here are the draft emails that can be sent to the companies that I need to get permission to film.  in.

  I have created a Gant chart so I can manage my time efficiently so the different processes stay on schedule, this means that we can spend less budget on reshoots, we can plan for the different tasks better and we don't disappoint because the film has missed the deadline. 

Here I have created an equipment booking sheet to help me decide what pieces of equipment I will need to hire or rent, this list will also help me organize the equipment to make sure we have everything we need as well as a document saying what we need to return. The equipment will have a massive impact on the final outcome of the production so it is equally important to document them properly otherwise we might have to pay extra fees for not returning things. This will come out of money we don’t have so it will fold the production.
